Dolly Shenanigans

Hi everyone. Mommy here! This is Aria's blog but here's a short story about one of the mixes the girls got into when left to their own devices. They are the best of friends and wonderful sisters. But sometimes... Well all sisters fight sometimes right? And apparently it's fun to take Aria's stuff. 
So I was out in the living room and I heard a ruckus. Going into the bedroom, this scene met my eyes. 
'Ha ha! Got your jacket!' 

'Melody, give it back!' 

*Thump*
'Hey get off me!' 
'Give it back!' 
'No!' 

'I'm going to thump you, Melody!' 
'I'd like to see you try it, Four - Eyes!'
'Purple Hair!' 
'You have purple hair, too, Aria!' 
'Well... Uhhh... Rainbow Brain!' 
'Nice come back, Vinyl Head!'

'You guys are so immature. You need to grow up and be proper dolls.'

'Ha ha! Got your jacket!' 

*Thump *
'Got ya, Sonata!' 
'Got ya, Melody!' 

The girls tousled a bit. Suddenly they all looked at each other. And dissolved into a pile of musical giggles.
Best friends forever. 

I love my girls.

Louisa Runs Away

 Louisa snapped her book shut.  She was reading a riviting story.  In the story, the little girl ran away.  She even took a train!  She found it to be an interesting idea.  Maybe she should run away, too! She turned to tell Clarence her great idea.  But he seemed to be asleep in his chair.  He always fell asleep when she read aloud to him.  She patted him on his fluffy head.  He quietly mooed in his sleep.  Louisa wondered if he was dreaming about grazing in lush green grass. Time to get ready! She hopped up and grabbed a backpack off the dresser.  Which was no easy feat because she had to climb the dresser first.  That's one thing that was true about all the dolls in this family.  They were all good climbers. After she got the backpack, she put her curly hair back in a ponytail.  She didn't want her hair in her face while she was running away.  She picked up Scooter, assuming he would want to come along and made her way out the bedroom door

A Special Storytime

Mommy had received some great mail this week. The one thing was something they'd been waiting a long time for. It was the second book from The Doll's Storybook. All the dolls followed the blog. They were all big fans and were really excited about the new book. This one was about Emil and his brother. Since the girls didn't have a brother, they were very interested to see how different the boys were from themselves. It being Saturday, the dolls knew it was story time. Whenever they gathered for story time, they would pick a girl to read. Today it was Aria's turn again. The second piece of mail, Mommy kept to herself. It was a suprise. The girls all lined up to chose their story time Affirmation Pal. Andi and Lily were in the front of the line, so they chose first. Andi chose Buttercup the Yak. Lily chose Rainbow Sprite. The New Room

Daddy had finished the bedroom.  There was new paint on the ceiling and walls, a new floor, and he was building new furniture.  Mommy was over the moon.  This beachside type room is the room she'd been dreaming about since she was a little girl.  Finally her dream was coming true, thanks to Daddy. The time came to show the girls.  She brought everyone in.  Everyone had been living on the couch in a pile.  One by one, Mommy lifted them, gave them a hug and a kiss, brushed their hair and steered them toward the bedroom. Each doll had a different response. Aria, who was barefoot, walked along the new floor, feeling the grain of the wood under her toes.  She was happy the carpet was gone.  She felt that with this floor maybe she wouldn't fall over so much. Sophie liked the changes to the room.  She walked around and quickly discovered the new bed Mommy had bought for TJ, the little Pom.  She bounced on it, checking it's cushiness.  Grabbing Mommy's K
